Zwiedzilsmy miedzy innymi Des Moines IA, gdzie Paul skonczyl college, Omaha NE i ich slawne zoo, Kansas City KS i MO, znane z dobrego BBQ , jazzu i bluesa, Independence MO, dom i muzeum prezydenta Trumana, Saint Louis MO i slawny luk dzielacy Stany na czesc wschodnia i zachodnia , Springfield IL, gdzie mieszkal i pracowal prezydent Lincoln, portowe miasto nad rzeka Mississippi, Dubuque IA i Galena IL, historyczne miasteczko zwiazane z prezydantem Grant'em.


We have just returned from a road trip that included six states (seven, if you include MN). We traveled 1500 miles, which is roughly 2400km. We visited Des Moines IA, a town where Paul attended Drake University, Omaha NE with its famous zoo, Kansas City KS and MO, known for great BBQ, jazz and blues, Independence MO a hometown of president Harry Truman, St. Louis MO and the Gateway Arch, Springfield IL where president Lincoln lived and worked for around 30 years, the port town of Dubuque IA on the Mississippi, and historic Galena IL with Ulysses Grant's home and other historic buildings (over 80% of the town is on the National Historic Register).

Pogoda w MN bardzo sie zmienila podczas ostatnich trzech miesiecy. Sofi i Hubert ciesza sie sloncem i spedzaja godziny na dworze. My natomiast staramy sie wykorzystac wolne weekendy podrozujac po okolicach. Tej wiosny dotarlismy do Murphy's Landing i Canterbury Horse Racing Track. Udalo nam sie rowniez spedzic dzien plywajac lodzia po jeziorze Minnetonka. Reszte wolnego czasu spedzamy u nas w ogrodzie cieszac sie kwiatami i dobrym grilowanym jedzeniem. Dolaczamy zdjecia jak zwykle pelne wrazen.
Weather in MN has changed drastically over the last three months. Sofi and Hubert are enjoying the sun and both spend hours hanging out in the yard. Over the weekends, we travel in the area and try to see as much as possible of our own neck of the woods. This spring we went to see Murphy's Landing, Canterbury Horse Racing Track and a boxing match. We also had a chance to spend a day sailing on lake Minnetonka. The rest of our free time we spend enjoying nature and good, grilled food in our garden. We attach some pictures of our most recent adventures.
